FROM PASTURE TO PLATE: HOW WE RAISE OUR CHICKENS
Our broiler chickens spend their first 2 weeks of life in heated brooding houses until they grow feathers for warmth. They are then placed in shelters that are moved daily to fresh grass, where the chickens enjoy sunshine, bugs, and green forage, while still having protection from inclement weather and predators.
These broilers are fed a locally-milled broiler ration containing soy and corn.
After harvesting, they are vacuum-sealed and frozen for freshness.
These delicious whole birds are great for grilling, roasting, soups, and frying.
